We are a non-profit organization that meets ONCE a MONTH! JOIN US! We invite you to get involved and help us make a positive difference for Durant students and staff!   WE WILL HAVE OUR MEETING TIMES PRINTED IN THE NEWS AND VIEWS.

We make a difference

Our goal is to create a school environment where teachers are able to do their best work – and so are the students. We provide support for teachers in and out of the classroom and we try to build the kind of supportive, caring atmosphere that makes school fun for the kids.

We pledge to honor your time constraints

We know that your time is precious. Often people are reluctant to join volunteer groups because they are afraid of the time commitment it requires. We meet once a month for an hour. We love to have people help with projects but we won’t push you to commit to more than you want to.

We have fun!

Volunteer work shouldn’t be a drag. We accomplish a lot, and not everything we do is easy, but we do our best to have a good time doing it. We value family time and make sure to incorporate our events as such.

There’s a lot to be done

These days’ teachers and schools are being asked to do more with less and that’s where we step in. Our help is needed to fill in the gaps.

We are welcoming

We are a group of people that have come together for a common cause – our kids. There are no “outsiders” in our group - everyone is welcome – whether it’s your first meeting or your hundredth!

We are about parent involvement, NOT fundraising

Our number one goal is to get more parents involved at the school. Raising money is important too, but students will benefit more by having their parents involved than by having more “things”.
