Durant is a city in Cedar, Muscatine, and Scott counties in the state of Iowa. The population is 1,871. The student population ranges from Pre-K to 12th grade.
The student-teacher ratio is 15:1. Our smaller class sizes allow for more personalized learning, which allows our students a greater opportunity for success.
Durant Community School District has exceptional sports fields, an up-to-date competition gymnasium, and soon will have a brand new elementary/middle school gymnasium. Durant also has 1:1 iPads. With the help of our PTO, we continue to improve on, and add new equipment to our elementary playground.
